Royal Wedding: Meghan and Harry Choose Prince George and Princess Charlotte as Page Boy and Bridesmaid

Kensington Palace has announced that the young Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the son and daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, will have a role to play in the upcoming wedding of their uncle Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.

The three-year-old Princess Charlotte has been chosen as a bridesmaid by the couple while four-year-old Prince George is to be a page boy during the wedding on Saturday, May 19.

Along with the royal attendants, the palace announced eight other youngsters picked by the couple for a special role in the wedding ceremony.

Bridesmaids alongside Charlotte are three-year-old Florence van Cutsem and two-year-old Zalie Warren, both goddaughters of Prince Harry and children of family friends, six-year-old Remi Litt, seven-year-old Rylan Litt and four-year-old Ivy Mulroney, daughters of Markle's close friends. Markle is also godmother to Remi and Rylan.

Page boys announced with Prince George will be six-year-old Jasper Dyer, godson of Prince Harry and the son of his close friend Mark Dyer, and seven-year-olds Brian Mulroney and John Mulroney, both sons of Markle's close friends.

According to the palace, further information on the attire of the young masters and misses will become availabe on the wedding day itself.

The wedding is set to take place at St George's Chapel at midday on Saturday with the Dean of Windsor, David Conner, conducting the service and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, officiating over the marriage vows.
